Tupac Shakur, one of the most idolized figures in the rap game. This nigga is truly monumental. His first album released was "2Pacalypse Now" in 1991, followed by his second album "I Get Around". In 1991 this nigga was shot several times in NYC, and was convicted of sexual assault. His next album "Me Against The World" in 1995 was debuted No. 1, while Pac was in jail. On September 7, 1996, Tupac was shot repeatedly at a casino in Las Vegas and died 6 days later.
 
40 Cal (b. Calvin Alan Byrd) is a member of Harlem-based mixtape crew the Diplomats (aka Dipset). 40 Cal made his first appearance with the self titled theme song "40 Cal" which was on the Dipset album: Diplomatic Immunity, Vol. 2 which was in 2004. His reputation however, is built on his notable freestyle-battling skills, which were captured on MTV2's Fight Klub MC battles. He has made a name for himself separately from his Dipset clique, selling thousands of units on his own. Big Daddy Kane (Antonio Hardy) was born September 10th, 1968. Big Daddy Kane, is a record producer and rapper from the Bed-Stuy section of Brooklyn, New York. He has worked with artists including 2Pac, Big L, Public Enemy, Rudy Ray Moore, Barry White and Biz Markie. As he continued to improve his fast flow and freestyle battle techniques, Kane became part of Marley Marl's legendary Juice Crew, he also penned lyrics for fellow members Biz Markie and Roxanne Shante. He now lives in the Raleigh-Durham region of North Carolina. Luniz is a platinum-selling rap artist from Oakland. They released an internationally successful hit in 1995 titled "I Got 5 on It", two versions of which appear on their album: Operation Stackola. A third version of the song, featuring Oakland rappers Shock G, E-40, Dru Down, Richie Rich, and Spice 1 and often found on the Internet as the Bay Area Ballas Remix, has also garnered radio play. Da Luniz were going to be featured on Tupac Shakurs One Nation project. Snoop Dogg's first debut album in 1993, became the first debut album to hit the charts at No. 1. When Snoop split from Death Row Records, he moved to Master P's No Limit label. In the late 90's, he began with Dre working on tracks like "Bitch Please," "Still D.R.E" and "The Next Episode." Besides rapping, Snoop appeared in such films as Training Day and The Wash, as well as working with Nike and Hustler. After 15 years into his career, Snoop Dogg is a high-powered celebrity and stays true to his music. In 2006 he released Tha Blue Carpet Treatment and the Dogg Pound's summer single "Cali Iz Active". The Game, a self-proclaimed member of the Bloods, after recovering from being shot and left for dead, he listened to dozens of classic hip hop albums and decided to become a rapper. After The Game's 2005 debut, The Documentary, which is considered among the best West Coast hip hop albums of this decade.
